Description
Abuela hats are made of 100% wool and knitted especially for you. They're not just ordinary headwear but a blend of comfort and elegance.
The name “Abuela” comes from the Spanish word for grandmother. It's a tribute to the tradition of grandmothers knitting hats for their granddaughters and daughters.
Our hats are perfect both for windy, chilly autumn days and for frosty winter mornings. They come in different sizes for children and adults. Although they're made of wool, they don't itch. They're soft and light, yet springy and stretchy, so they fit the head well.
Because the hats are made of wool, we recommend gentle hand washing so that your hat keeps its quality for as long as possible.

100% WOOL
Wool cleans itself, so the hat doesn't need washing; a steam bath is enough. Hang it in the bathroom during a hot shower for 15 to 20 minutes, and the steam will relax the fibres and remove odours. Then gently shape the hat with your hands and leave it to dry flat or on a round shape, such as a balloon. Day to day, airing it is enough; avoid the washing machine and drying it on a radiator.
Measure your head circumference with a soft tailor's tape measure. Run it above the eyebrows and ears, around the widest part of the head. The hats are stretchy and fit any head within the given range.
